About Us

Engineer Placements (EP) was formed in 2004 to provide technical resources to the engineering industry in South Africa in particular as well as internationally. The directors are Professional Engineers.

We like to have the industry think of us more as a human resource and career development facility providing a much longer relationship with Employers and Engineers than the average employment agency experience.

We provide a personal hands-on service in addition to assisting our clients with a direct access to our on-line interactive searchable database which can be accessed at www.engineerplacements.com.

Our clients can choose a number of different services from professional selective recruiting to on-line advertising. All job postings placed on the site are initially automatically matched against the resumes and CVs in our database, and matching Job Alerts are emailed to Job Seekers. We refine that process with detailed manual profile matching and personal contact with the applicant.

We have developed advanced search and match criteria specifically designed for engineering qualifications and skills.

Our web based interactive platform enables Job Seekers to place their resumes and CVs on-line, update them at any time and keep them live.

We have established alliances with a number of prominent international recruiting networks based in the UK and Europe that give us a reach into a database of some 1,500,000 engineering resources. This resource can be accessed by replicating the postings on our International Job Board on those of our alliance partners, and responses are received directly by us.

We work closely with most of the voluntary engineering associations, The Engineering Council of SA (ECSA), and we are active with a number of self funded initiatives to enhance the use of retired and retrenched Engineers as mentors.

We provide a separate job page for students seeking semester and vacation work opportunities with employers.

We value the personal contact to cement an effective interdependent relationship. The site provides the facility to communicate with us at any time.

We currently have offices in: Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and active Affiliates around South Africa, UK and Middle East.
